COMPOSITION OF PACKAGES

CANAL OVERSEAS benefits from a real know-how for putting together channel packages according to specific local requirements. It responds to the expectations of the markets by selecting the topics and channels and negotiating directly with editors.
CANAL OVERSEAS is also in charge of the international distribution of the channels edited by the CANAL+ Group.

EDITING CHANNELS

From its network head based in Paris region, CANAL OVERSEAS publishes the CANAL+ overseas channels, the CANAL+ channel dedicated to the Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the CANAL+ ESSENTIEL channel created specifically for the Maghreb. Thirteen Polish channels for the platform CYFRA+ are edited from the control room in Warsaw: a Polish version of the CANAL+ premium channel and its multiplexes as well as seven themed channels.
The programme schedules for CANAL+ programmes and their multiplexes intended for overseas and Africa are prepared and adapted according to the time zones for each area for consumption convenience in local time and compliance with the rules of the CSA while reserving the need for sporting events and information to be live.

CYFRA+ EDITS A POLISH VERSION OF THE CANAL+ PREMIUM CHANNEL AND ITS MULTIPLEXES, AS WELL AS 7 THEMED CHANNELS

CANAL+, the polish version of the premium channel which broadcasts box-office highlights shortly after their release in theatres, classic TV shows, documentaries and major sporting events.
CANAL+ FILM (and its HD version) a channel dedicated to cinema which broadcasts the most successful Polish and international movies of all time.
CANAL+ SPORT (and its HD version), a channel dedicated to sports with games of the Polish League, the Ligue 1, the Calcio and the Spanish League, but also basketball, boxing and horseback riding.
CANAL+ SPORT 2, a channel which enables subscribers to enjoy sports at another level thanks to exclusive sporting programs such as additional games for each championship.

CANAL+ HORIZONS

Sport, cinema, entertainment... the CANAL+ HORIZONS editorial line is similar to that of CANAL+ FRANCE. The table is adapted for the African continent and complemented by:
Major sporting events, negotiated for CANAL+ HORIZONS, such as the ANC (African Nations Cup), the Euro tournament, the World Cup for football.
Special broadcasts co-produced by CANAL OVERSEAS, intended for Africa, like AFRIK’ART (broadcast that promotes art, culture and African talents, across the world), COULEURS HORIZONS (broadcast that gives important African personalities a say) and TALENTS D’AFRIQUE (broadcast that retraces the exploits of up-and-coming African football players on the European stage).

CANAL+ ESSENTIEL

CANAL+ is the premium channel for the African continent broadcast in North Africa. CANAL+ offers more than 400 films per year including the most popular movies, the best of soccer with the League 1, the best sitcoms, documentaries and emblematic shows.
Launched in Morocco in September 2007, via the ADSL package from Maroc Telecom, CANAL+ ESSENTIEL is also distributed via ADSL in Algeria and by satellite in the package LE BOUQUET DE CANAL+ launched in 2009 in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
